The MISSION of DECA is to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Mississippi Collegiate DECA is a chartered association through DECA, Inc. MS Collegiate is a partnership of stakeholders preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs to be college and career ready.

MEMBERSHIP / DUES

• Six (6) chapters with 70 total members
• Student/Advisor/Professional: $20.00 – National ($10); State ($10)
• Alumni: $10.00 – Nationals ($10); State ($0)

COMPETITIVE EVENTS

DECA allows students to put their experience, skills, and knowledge to the test through 25 compelling competitive events categorized as Individual Case Studies, Team Case Studies, and Prepared Business Presentations.

EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

DECA offers growth and development opportunities to extend learning beyond the classroom through enriching experiences. The educational conferences integrate knowledge and skills learned in the classroom into real-world experiences. Collegiate DECA conferences provide members unique access to internships, scholarships, and professional networking. Students are also afforded the opportunity to network and explore new places while enriching their chosen career knowledge.
